FEBRUARY EVENTS
Thursday, February 2: “Can You See Your Shadow?”
It is Groundhog’s Day and what better way to celebrate than playing in the Shadow Room! Stop by the ArtSpace to learn about Punxsutawney Phil, take a Groundhog’s Day Quiz, and decorate a coloring page of Phil.
Monday, February 6: Valentine’s Day Workshop
Decorate your own Valentine’s Day foam frame with bug stickers, hearts and glitter to hold your favorite 6 x 4 picture. Classes begin at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and are limited to 20 children.
Monday, February 20: Mardi Gras Workshop
Celebrate Mardi Gras decorating your own mask with markers, glitter and feathers. Classes begin at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and are limited to 20 children.
Monday, February 20-24: Photo Op
Celebrate Washington’s Birthday by taking pictures with George and Martha Washington life size cutouts!
Tuesday, February 21: CLOSED for Mardi Gras
Wednesday, February 22: Patriotic Workshop
Celebrate Presidents’ Day by painting patriotic pinwheels. Classes begin at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and are limited to 15 children.
Saturday, February 25: Dental Health
Join Dr. Bryan Manning by our "Big Mouth" exhibit at 11 a.m. as he presents a program on dental health. This is a great opportunity for parents to educate their children on proper dental hygiene and encourage them to take care of their teeth. Goodie bags will be given out to each child.
