SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FOR JANUARY

 

Friday, January 23: Playdough Snowman

Build a snowman using Playdough in the ArtSpace from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

 

Friday, January 30: Mardi Gras Pasta Necklaces

String your own Mardi Gras pasta necklaces in the ArtSpace from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  

 

 

 

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FOR FEBRUARY

 

Monday, February 2: Groundhogs

Celebrate Groundhog Day with us by making a groundhog using crayons, scissors and a paper plate. When you’re done you can see your shadow in our Shadow Room!

 

Friday, February 6: Wild West Fork Painting

Join us from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and paint a cactus using a fork to create a Wild West desert scene.

 

Saturday, February 7: CyPhaKids on Serenity

At 11 a.m., kids will learn about dinosaurs and Fox's hit TV show, Firefly! The program is limited to 20 children, ages 4-10. However, if more than 20 children are expected, there will be a second event at 12 p.m.!

 

Friday, February 13: Heart Painting

Join us in the ArtSpace from 3:30-4:30 p.m. for heart painting using toilet paper rolls!

 

Saturday, February 14: Sasol’s Second Saturday Science Show

Sasol continues its 5S Project with “Melting with Love” at 11:30 a.m. Carla Morgan will show children how chocolate and crayons melt. Children will also make a sun-catcher by melting crayons.

 

Friday, February 14: Valentine’s Day Cards

Stop by the ArtSpace from 12:30-1:30 p.m. to make a Valentine’s Day card for your special someone!

 

Monday, February 16: Mardi Gras Masks

Get ready for the Mardi Gras parades by making a mask in the ArtSpace from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  

 

Tuesday, February 17: CLOSED FOR MARDI GRAS

 

Wednesday, February 18: Japanese Cherry Blossoms

Paint a beautiful Japanese cherry blossom tree! Classes begin at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and are limited to 12 children each, ages 5 and up.

 

Friday, February 20: Playdough

Build something neat using Playdough in the ArtSpace from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

 

Friday, February 27: Watercolor Circle Art

Create your own circle design using watercolors in the ArtSpace from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
