Welcome to the Children's Museum!
The Children’s Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that relies on ticket sales, memberships, birthday parties and other sources to operate. This closure comes during our busiest field trip season, making the impact all the more severe. It has also impacted our fundraising events and put a temporary hold on our summer camp programs.
We have taken immediate steps to put the organization in the best position to be able to re-open when it’s safe to do so. Things will be a little different at first but we cannot wait to see everyone’s smiling faces again real soon. Until then we are asking for your support.
If you’re able, please help us keep the lights on. We remain hopeful that together we can continue our mission for the children and families of Southwest Louisiana for many more years to come. We will all get through this…TOGETHER!
The Children’s Museum is a 501 c(3) Non-Profit organization located in the heart of Downtown Lake Charles.
We provide hands on educational exhibits and programs to children and their families in a safe and
stimulating atmosphere that promotes creativity, imagination and learning!
