The city of Lake Charles has many beautiful public parks perfect for picnic lunches! Here are a few suggestions.
Millennium Park

Shiver Me Timbers Millennium Park is 20,000 square feet and features a tower, train, plane, a multi-story Louisiana Hurricane slide and a tree house. Located just south of the Lake Charles Civic Center, the view of the lake is spectacular from the top of the tower! Park includes a new splash park, shade pavilion, fossil dig, walking paths and other amenities. This park is next to the Lake Charles Civic Center. Click the image below to download a park brochure.

Play gyms, swings, a walking trail, picnic tables and shady oak trees. A recreational community center is available upon booking. The walking trail offers a pretty view of the lake. This park is located next to Christus St. Patrick Hospital.
Lock Park
Corner of Ryan Street and 7th Street
Downtown Lake Charles

Located at Ryan and 7th streets, the park offers a playground, shaded picnic area and playing field. This park is across the street from Immaculate Conception Catholic School.

Adventure Cove Park
