How do I purchase or renew my membership?

Memberships can be purchased in three easy ways:

 o Call us at 337-426-1559

 o Ask us at the front desk during your next visit

What if I already have a membership at the Children's Museum? Do I need to buy another one?

No! All memberships are for one full year from purchase date. If you are unsure if you have an active membership, or if you want to know when your membership expires, please call us at 337-426-1559.

Did membership prices increase?

No! All membership prices remained the same, but our new software lists the total price (base cost and tax combined). The tax rate at Port Wonder is 11.75%

Do you sell gift memberships?

Yes! Children’s Museum memberships make a great gift! Give the gift of play for everyday.

 

Does my membership include the LDWF Nature and Science Center?

No, all memberships are for the Children’s Museum at Port Wonder only. The Nature and Science Center does not offer memberships at this time.

 

Who should I list on my membership? Can I share a membership with my friend or other family members?

We know every family is different! All membership levels require at least one named adult and one named child per level. You may name anyone on the membership you will visit with, but you may not transfer names mid-term. Additional adults and children may also be added for $45 each.

 

Can I apply general admission tickets toward the purchase of a membership?

Absolutely! When you visit the Children’s Museum and purchase general admission tickets, you can apply your ticket costs toward a membership at any time on the day of your visit. The number and type of applicable tickets varies with the membership level you purchase. Present your receipt from your admission to the museum that day at the front desk.

Does my membership auto-renew?

No, we turned off the auto-renew function so our members can ensure they are getting the best value every year. We will send out reminders for renewal starting the month prior to your membership's expiration date

 

How do I download my digital membership card?

You will receive an email from the Children’s Museum. If you cannot find your email, call us at 337-426-1559, and we can re-send it.

 

What is the ACM Reciprocal Network benefit?

As a family of 4 member level or higher, you may visit other ACM (Association of Children’s Museums) museums participating in their reciprocal network. The ACM Reciprocal Network offers 50% off admission for up to six (6) people to participating museums. The cardholder must be present for discounted admission.
